An inactive volcano located less than an hours drive from downtown Portland. Visible on clear days form most anywhere in Portland, Mount Hood dominates the landscape with its snow covered peak.

I spent two weeks in a hostel when I arrived in Portland on February 1st 2008. It was a nice place. Clean and a great staff made everyone feel comfortable. The bunk beds in the dorms were clean and made for a good nights rest.
